• Fee for the league is $20.  This will cover the tee times and the Season long match play tournament.   No year end tournament fees will be collected.  If and when a year end tournament is arranged, fees will be decided then.   Only regular players are responsible for the league fee – Subs don’t pay this fee.
  • The ball will be played up (you can roll it) in the fairways and down in the rough.  If question arise as to whether the ball is in the fairway or not, the opponent decides.
  • $2 will be collected from each player each night.  $1 will be used for the nightly skin game, $1 will be used for the mini tournament.    Each player will be required to provide the $1 for the mini tournament.  Whoever plays on Wednesday night can provide the $1 for the nightly skin game.
  • Participation in the skins game is optional, but is assumed.   If you don’t want to play in the skins game, you must announce on the first tee prior to starting the match.   Net skins take precedence over handicap skins – so a real birdie is better than a handicapped birdie, but a handicap birdie is better than a net par.   Only one stroke of handicap is applied to skins.
  • The three week mini tournaments will be played as handicapped tournaments.  The cumulative net score for the three weeks will be used to rank players with the three lowest net scores receiving that tournament's payout.  The payout for each tournament is: 1:$18, 2:$12, 3:$6.   If a tie occurs, each player will split the money available.    Like the handicap, the highest score allowed in the minitournament will be a double bogey.   If you are going to record a score higher than a double bogey, and you cannot win the hole in the match, you can pick up.
  • The match play segment payout will be a total of 12*$14.40=$173. ($20 – $5.60 = $14.40 (reservations fee)). This payout  be split as follows: 1st =$50, 2nd $40, 3rd $30, 4th $25, 5th $16, 6th $12 – Finish in the top 5– get  your money back.  Finish 6th to get some of it.  Otherwise the players above thank you.
  • All areas of long grass will be played as lateral hazard.  If there is doubt whether the ball went out of bounds or into long grass – assume long grass.  If a ball is lost through the green – play it as if it were in a lateral hazard – Do not return to the tee.
  • Gimme putts are not allowed if the score will be for better than net Bogey (unless the putt is within the leather, standard putter lengths only, these can be conceded at any time).  Over a net bogey is at the opponents discretion.  This keeps a player from getting a lower score than he is entitled to in the mini tournament and also keeps a player from having to take a lesser score in his handicap calculations.
  • We will handicap the holes based upon our league scores over the last 3 years. This will mean that our handicap holes will not line up perfectly with those on the score card.

  • Handicap will be based upon the course rating.  We will not use any score in excess of a double bogey for any hole..  For new players without a handicap, we will use the following scheme.

if no USGA handicap available - handicap 1st night 75% of score

handicap 2nd night 75% of 1st score handicap, 3rd night 75% of average first two night Handicap

    4th night 75% of average first 3 night, 5 th night - best 2of 4,

    6th night best 2/5 scores , 7th night 3/6,   Best 4 rounds of 7.

A non regular player with an old handicap (less than 2 rounds per year)– will use whichever is lower – His USGA or League Handicap as his starting handicap.
